Can you explain this lack of magic further please? Every character in the demo had the ability to add elemental damage to his/her avatar's physical attack. Also, there was a character built on white magic/support, and a character built on black magic, and they both had a nice amount of spells.
I liked the battle mechanic, the field abilities, and the graphics. I was skipping over the dialogue to avoid spoilers in cause I bought it, so I cant vouch for it.
Anyway, with the exception of screen tearing so bad its nearly unplayable (for me anyway, it distracts me) the game is solid. If this issue is just a demo thing, I can see this game doing well in the US/UK.
Not common knowledge? Sounds like you need to pull your head out of the same hole that Mr. McElroy's is in.
If youre going to post a news item, or make a statement at all, about something that isnt necessarily your hobby or interest, you should do a little searching first.
That would be like me saying that the RPG craze is dying, because all we've got is Blue Dragon and really nothing for PS3 other than a port of Oblivion. Ignorance from lack of research is still ignorance.
"not only is giant robot fever on the way out" Thats funny, since Famitsu gave this game 33 out of 40, it sold 100,000 copies upon release in Japan (the first PS3 title to do so) and sold 70 percent of its launch shipment.
Not to mention one of the most popular animes today is a "giant robot" show, Gurren Lagann, which has just been licensed for release in America.
Do you guys have to try hard to write this stuff, or does it just roll out?
