XBLA prices slowly rising, says Microsoft

Jul 25th 2011 12:03AM (Joystiq)
If we're asked to pay $15 for a premium game from XBLA, then it should offer total of 250GS achievement points to unlock instead!

Since it's logically 1/4 the price of a usual retail game.

LucasArts classics could wind up on iPhone ... 'wink wink, nod nod'

Jul 7th 2009 3:23AM (Joystiq)
Even if the games were running on an emulator, as long as the game was packaged as it's title and as a game, it should probably be approved by Apple. Apparently, a few games such as the port of SONIC for iPhone actually runs on an emulator.
In the case of the rejected C64 emulator, it was a different story.

Nintendo asks for help against biggest piracy offenders

Feb 25th 2009 11:16AM (Joystiq)
How about lowering the retail prices of NDS games ? Or if there could be any possible way to work out an official deal to locally distribute these games at a reasonable price locally at the countries, maybe that could work out better for all parties involved.

Not exactly everyone(in the world) could afford $34.99 for an NDS title. And yes I do agree owning games are a luxury.

We've had the same issue with CD piracy here in Malaysia, and there's been steps to curb piracy by lowering the prices. However, greedy record companies couldn't cope with that stating that buying CD's are a luxury and it should be priced as such. Such bullcrap if you ask me.

Come on! Give us all a win-win deal.

Apple (probably) prepping a patch for mysterious clicking issue on new MacBooks

Nov 6th 2008 2:04AM (Engadget)
Whut!! Geez guys... just enable tap-to-click and be done with clicking. Clicking exerts too much energy, when tapping alone is so much easier to do! Loving the new trackpad .. very frustrating for me everytime I have to switch back to any other notebook(dell, etc).
