on a serious note i've been playing the ridge racer series since the ps1 days and i have never seen a abomination like this, since i first saw gameplay i have been extremely disappointed, the simplistic arcade gameplay is completely gone and has been replaced with a burnout/need for speed clone!, namco have literally just stuck their middle finger up at their dedicate fans and gone on their merry way, well sorry namco i will go back to playing ridge racer 7 or ridge racer type 4 on my ps1 and enjoy the golden days of gaming liked it used to be, what sellouts!

correction IT WILL happen becasue $ony can and will get away with taking away advertised features (regardless if what they are doing is illegal they can get away with it) so glad i have a 3DS i wouldn't even think of getting a vita even when the vita will be long dead and the next generation Sony handheld comes along i still won't buy one, i have washed my hands clean from $ony.

@Master Troll i have around 64 titles for my cube/wii the gamecube will always be one of my favorite consoles :)

@airtoast got it in one, you gotta love the digital download age where publishers can resell you the same game with "HD" slapped on the title and charge you twice as much as the original costs.

@The Tim nintendo's consoles have always been that way, now if that was a ps3 or a xbox 360 it would be a different story lol

great, so it's confirmed that there will be online multiplayer in GTA5 it was expected but this is a confirmation anyway, it's sad becasue i won't be able to get platinum just like i was deprived of a platinum in GTA4 becasue of tacked on online multiplayer crap (and forced online trophies), i really do hate the current gen online approach, it ruins what would have been a great single player campaign experience.
