It seems quite obvious to me from the VGA teaser that the sequel will be outside of Arkham. The game will likely incorporate sections of Arkham in the first act, though.
Ben Gilbert is correct. Puzzle Quest games, Rockstar's Table Tennis (opponent spin notification), and many other games should've been tested for colorblind players. I've not had a single problem with MW2 and I'm colorblind. Maybe this Facebook group is just a bunch of losers looking for an excuse to explain their K/D ratio? ;)
This isn't the only matchmaking issue with this game. How about IW also confirm and fix the problem when lobbies merge and you lose members of your party or you end up merged in a room with only one person? It's ridiculous that the matchmaking has taken a step back from COD4, especially in light of the handicapping they did to dedicated servers and party chat.
Party chat is a big deal this time around, mainly due to Modern Warfare 2's pathetic matchmaking system. When lobbies merge, party members are frequently lost, dropped, or otherwise left out. With no party chat to see who is or isn't there quickly, one must regularly back out of the lobby and regroup through invites, etc.
It's a pain in the ass and it happens much too frequently for a developer like Infinity Ward to rest on their laurels. Good on DICE for giving players more - not less - options when playing multiplayer.
I hope the devs don't listen too closely to this complaint. All we need is the ADHD, no-attention-span kiddies ruining the games that actually develop characters. If it wasn't for us experiencing Ezio's carefree youth and familial bond, why would we be invested in the tragedy that follows? Why would we feel the same desire for revenge?
I'd rather want to accomplish a goal because of the story and my connection to the characters instead of just because the game mechanics tell me to or for an achievement. AC2 has a great story - and one that is much stronger than the first. Guess how the first game started? That's right: with a bang of action and little to no exposition.
Dramatic Structure 101 maintains that the best stories offer Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, and Resolution. Start exclusing parts of that and you muddy the narrative.
A 'stache is the sign of a distinguished gentleman. In this dire economic climate, do we really need to be removing that which makes us whole? I say no. Keep it.
