May 23rd 2006 5:19PM (Joystiq)Nintendo are not the first people to put motion sensing in video game console. Their were motion sensing controllers for PCs a while ago, and the first motion sensing controller for one of the three big console makers was a 3rd party playstation controller.
MrTroy
look two posts above you then talk again if you have any dignity left.

Im saying Blake Snow is.

May 23rd 2006 4:42PM (Joystiq)PS3 still $600 (with a picture of Ken Kutaragi saying "Im trying to get paid.")
another:
Microsoft befriends nintendo in FIGHT vs. sony
I dont think these posts meet the criteria needed to hire a Joystiq blogger. You know, that post that explains the star system and that says you would need to be partial to every console in order to get hired by Joystiq.

May 23rd 2006 4:10PM (Joystiq)You DO NOT know anything about what youre talking about.
A. GTA WILL NOT be exclusive to the Xbox. I dont know where you got that info from but the only thing it might be exclusive to is PS3, whom they have always supported and teamed up with.
B. There is no way xbox has more titles than playstation, im not even going to explain that, basically if you dont know that you wouldnt even be able to comprehend what i just said.
C. No one knows who will have a better online service, Sony had almost as many online members as Xbox Live did, without even supporting online. Who knows what will happen if Sony actually supports its online service. I have no idea how you got seven stars, probably because you hate Sony and obviously so does the guy that wrote this article, so he gave them to you.

May 23rd 2006 3:55PM (Joystiq)all that you have been posting lately are articles saying how much the cost of the PS3 will be and how you are not going to buy it. And I thank you for that. Because every time you post an article like that it brings all the hype to the PS3 and how great it will be BECAUSE of its high price tag. Everything that you are getting would be around $2,000 if you bought it seperately right at this moment. Add it up:
blue ray player: $1,000 location free tv: $300 60 gb hard drive: $75 personal tivo: $175 computer that has internet access: $500 and a gaming machine.
So I thank you once again, and please keep posting about how you "aren't" going to buy a PS3, because frankly with all these features included, you'd be crazy not to.
and sony will lower the price of the PS3, probably right after the end of the fiscal year, just so that it can bring in the less fortunate gamers who just want a Playstation 3.
thank you.
Will the real 'weemote' please stand up?
May 15th 2006 9:29PM (Joystiq)Now to answer exbzurgs question, i have never played the game, never heard of the game, and never seen the game, because i dont pay attention to childish nintendo games. i just have two questions to ask you in order to help you answer your own question.
1. was the technology in kirby tilt a whirl patented?
2. was it out before sonys first patent in 1999?
if the answer to both those questions were yes, then you may have something there, that is if it even is anything related to the technology in the Dual shake and the Wiimote.
But now i am done posting for the night and done posting on this article for ever since i am only fifteen and do have school tomorrow. Yes that is correct, you have been debating (and losing) to a fifteen year old, and obviously you are older than that since you know when a ray gun came out over twenty years ago.

May 15th 2006 8:07PM (Joystiq)Will the real 'weemote' please stand up?
May 15th 2006 7:34PM (Joystiq)I believe it is not the weemote 7, but the weemote 2.
all numbers clarified now? speaking of clarification, check this out...
Found some new information regarding sony copying the nintendo controller. You might want to reconsider everything you have said about sony stealing ideas from nintendo before reading this.
Sony stole from nintendo huh. here are some tilt functions patented by sony in 1999.
http://v3.espacenet.com/textdoc?DB=EPODOC&IDX=JP11099284&F=0&QPN=JP11099284
here is another article from 2003 showing sony's plans.
http://sony.gamerfeed.com/gf/news/4815/
How about the fact that the warhawk team, even though they added the functionality in 10 days, Knew that the change in the controller was planned for a long time?
http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3150702
So Nintendo could have maybe been the ones stealing from sony all this time.
there now it relates to the article... somehow.
