Because I am apparently not well read enough to understand it without theories of indoctrination/hallucinations that Bioware has not bothered to comment on.

There is speculation about there being DLC later for an explanation for everything but for me that is a bigger jab to the jaw... they deliberately gave me a crap ending just to charge me for one that makes sense later? That's crap... I started to play through ME1 again with the end in mind to see if I can make sense of it. So far the element of synthetics vs organics forever being at odds is pretty well established. The AI from 1 that you find on the Citadel funneling credits from Quasar machines says almost verbatim that Synthetics will never have a use for organics and organics will always try to destroy them if they can't control them. But the whole point of Shepard's actions is that if you do things right you can prove that isn't true. Making peace between Tali and Legion in ME2, the Quarians and the Geth in ME3, and all of the stuff you can do with EDI in both ME2 & ME3 shows you can fight against that. But the end basically says "Nope, doesn't matter how much of a peacemaker and smooth talker you have been; you can't solve this Reaper problem that way."
The Day-1 DLC crap... :/ I bought the CE so I got it with my game. Javik was a nice addition to the game but hardly important. I didn't take him on many missions because between my longtime favorites Liara, Tali, and Garrus... there wasn't really room for him.
But regardless of the shortcomings ME is still an amazing series with great lore and characters. ME3 had great gameplay and wonderful interactions. I seriously choked up several times during the game because the emotion was so heavy. An ending, can't ruin it for me. It can anger me and it can leave me feeling cheated but it doesn't make me care less about the franchise. If they do come out and offer a fix or an epilogue than my hurt feelings can probably disappear. But Bioware seriously is going to lose my interest if they don't do something.
