Stan Bush's 'The Touch' coming to Guitar Hero

Mar 19th 2009 5:57PM (Joystiq)
Two things:

1) This is one of the greatest moments in video game history right here. GOD BLESS THE INTERNET!

2) Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime was the greatest Transformer of all time. Hot Rod was young and unsure of himself when he was forced to grow up to save the Autobots, taking the mantle of Rodimus Prime. Like a REALISTIC hero, he wasn't perfect and a 100% generic cliche like Optimus Prime. Of course he wanted what was best for his people, but he still had to struggle with his internal conflicts and mistakes that often come with youth. This character was so far ahead of his time, it's not even funny.

I hope when Optimus died, he suffered more than anyone in the history of fictional robotic deaths.

This Wednesday: Hasbro Family Game Night matches with XBLA

"Each game will be sold individually on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points."

How much clearer does it have to be?

This Wednesday: Hasbro Family Game Night matches with XBLA

Mar 17th 2009 11:05AM (Joystiq)
Hmm, let's see here. For the all the games on a nice hard drive space saving disc, Hasbro Family Game Night is 19.99 on the PS2 and 39.99 on the Wii, but instead will cost SEVENTY BUCKS on the 360.

Wow, EA. Just wow. Way to use up all the goodwill you got last year for turning over a new leaf.

The sad thing is since EA is now the #1 company for making gamers pay for gamerscore (see EA Live Draft and Live Score Trackers), they're going to have people tripping over themselves to fork over money for that nice shiny 1400GS that this game will be worth.

Hey man, mad props for posting that. Any lingering doubts I had about buying this are completely crushed, and this will now be a Day 1 purchase for me.

"One thing's for certain: Rockstar isn't dicking around with horse armor." lulz

Five bucks?!? That's it?!?! My God, I'm having heart flutters right now cuz I would have easily paid twenty for this.

Thinking back now, the original Katamari extrememly cheap when it first came out as well. Mr. Takahashi, you are my hero.

I know, right? God forbid anyone want an actual fucking disc you can hold in your hands and not DLC!

PC Only?!? Well, there goes every last ounce of respect I had for Criterion. I guess being part of EA this has long has FINALLY clouded their previously good judgment.

Jane Jensen teases Gray Matter with Christmas tale

Dec 18th 2008 3:23PM (Joystiq)
GOD, why can't they do an Xbox 360 version of this as well? I would absolutely love to play this game as the Gabriel Knight games are some of my all time faves and the plot for Grey Matter sounds right up my alley. But since it's a PC Game I'm sure I'd have to spend $500 to upgrade my computer so I could run it on minimum.... lame.
