I don't dig it much. I think it looks way too busy with all those lame marketing-type graphics on the buttons. The current one is clean and simple - it won't ever get in the way of themes or backgrounds.

If they wanted an accurate representation on those buttons they should've put pictures that better represent gamers: Snotty, whining, spoiled little kids and Older, out-of-shape, beer-drinking adults still living with their parents. Then again, I don't know how I'd feel about having those pictures on my 360's buttons...

Hmmph, In the end you can never win, I guess...

Who doesn't love obscure Return to Zork references?

I'm happy with it so far, with only a few tiny gripes.
Here's what I've found on mine:

- Music player's visualizer (both tiny and fullscreen) is extremely slow now; big drop in framerate, compared to silky-smooth pre-update dash, especially when using the controller to move the patterns.

- No restart of paused music when exiting a video or cutscene, must be done manually and restarts that entire song (sucks for live mixes)

Sense, The wireless usb adapters you're referring to for a laptop (which can actually be found as low as 19.99 nowadays) are different from wireless bridges (as in the 360's case), which are usually much more expensive. It's bad taxonomy on their part, even though to the average consumer, the name is easier to understand.

It's also worth noting that this guy has a job, and quite a high profile one at that. Plus, let's not forget - being that he's insanely rich, I highly doubt he'd be logging too many hours in video games (at least after the launch), when he could be stacking supermodels in a murcielago. ;)
