An all new episode of Alan Wake's Night Springs: 'Doomed Samaritan'

@Noir

They're parodies of an often cheesy show. The fact that they're bad and cheesy is kind of the point.

@VampireEater

It's free for anyone who has the game before the expansion comes out.

Octodad 2 now 'Octodad: Dadliest Catch,' coming in 2013

@Dance Mofo

I always assumed Octodad accidentally killed the original husband in an unfortunate fishing accident, and took his place out of guilt, shame and responsibility.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that both are basically bug free at this point. I prefer BGT myself, but Tutu is quite good as well. Hope you have fun with it.

@Shiz

Look up either the Baldur's Gate Trilogy mod or EasyTutu. Both are mods that port the first Baldur's Gate to the second engine. BGT actually turns it into one big game. Very helpful if you liked the second but found the first too dated.

That's exactly what Stacking, Costume Quest, Trenched/Iron Brigade and Happy Action Theater were intended to do. And they were far more successful than any DoubleFine retail release.

I think this new Kickstarter model has serious potential to finally work as a good model for DoubleFine.

Glad you like it. I agree that it's a good blog, but I'm biased because I write it. I'm happy some fellow Joystiq readers are enjoying it, though!

Shank 2 review: Refined brutality

@Timjoy

You still do. If you pause the game you can change your loadout from a menu option at almost any time. It's nowhere near as convenient of course.

Paradox to reveal Magicka studio's next game at GDC

@Marshillboy

Really? The most expensive DLC is six bucks, and they go 66% off all the time on Steam. I can think of dozens of examples of games with worse DLC, console and PC.
