No, I don't really think it's coming, at least not as the primary form of distribution. The PS3 will ship with a 60G hard drive which is barely bigger than a dual layer Blueray Disc. So it's not as if we'll simply be able to load up the hard drive with games. Not to mention, internet speeds are not up there yet. I don't know anyone who can download 9-50 gigs in any reasonable ammount of time. I could certainly drive to the local mall much quicker. And, not everyone even has broadband internet. They're are of course other issues physical distribution that cannot be replicated, such as: box/art (Some people really do like to judge a book... err game by it's cover.), (Not only do they want a piece of the action, but they actually help promote games.), book/manual (Face it, reading anything on a TV screen is never going to be the same as reading ink and paper.), etc.

So do I think it's coming? Eventually, but it's going to take some leaps in technology, as well as a widespread shift in consumer habbits.

But, where's the playstation love? I assumed you were waiting until the closer to launch, but the revolution will surely launch around the sametime if not later. Well until then I guess I'll have to do it

Yeah the Install/setup process was...ughh i went out to eat during that time. But, as far as the graphics go.. NO they are not anywhere near as good anything else on the 360 but it's simply a port of a game designed for the PS2 (well it's probably taken almost directly from the pc version). The textures and everything were made 3-4 years ago, and they haven't changed them for the 360. All they did was make it scaleable for HD resolutions.

While this game was alright when it first came out on PC i'm pretty dissappointed with this game, but when are any other mmorpgs hitting the 360?

ohh well back to playing DOA4 without being able to save.

This movie really looks awesome. I've played the trailer(and teaser) to people who've long played the series and who've never even heard the name and most seemed impressed. I say this is probably the best game to film adaptation we're going to get.(atleast for a long time)

I think that all these problems are still due to the reletively new console and not so much the psp. We're all looking for the amazing late gen ps2 games (Burnout Revenge, Resident Evil 4,San Andreas, Soul Calibur 3, Socom 3(I haven't played this but i'd assum it's pretty damn nice)) and titles that aren't out yet like Black and FF XII. The thing is they just haven't broken the psp down as far as the ps2. They have VERY similar Specs as far just the hardware, but there's alot more to making the game. The games that we are seeing on the PSP now, to me, look like middle generation ps2 games. for example Burnout Legends is comparable more to burnout 2&3 than "Revenge" and GTA:LCS is more like Vice City than San Andreas. But Thats not a bad start, and I can see some very advanced games coming out during the psp's life span. hot carl

FLASH damn it i want to use FLASH on it. A video camera add-on would be cool. A Sony made FM Transmitter that is small and looks nice with the PSP.
