Game on: NFL likeness lawsuit against EA moving forward

@gettinmoney662

It's called covering all your bases. A company with as much money as EA has a formidable legal team, I'm sure.

Current gen consoles 'can't cope' with traditional Total War

Mar 31st 2012 3:26AM (Joystiq)
I don't think RTS games ever translated well to consoles, so I don't think memory is the true limiting factor for Total War.

Being a good neighbor in SimCity

Half joke, half serious. I've never managed to do well. You're honestly the first person who's told me that they have that game figured out.

Being a good neighbor in SimCity

Are they adding the feature where it's actually possible to be successful? In my experience, no one has ever done well in SimCity; it's just a race to see who can do the least bad.

Assassin's Creed 3 special editions bound for Europe

@bluem00se

Really, they should be exclusive to the UK, just to remind them. I would be very understanding of Ubisoft's trolling.

Call of Duty creative strategist Robert 'FourZeroTwo' Bowling departs Infinity Ward [update: Activision responds]

@Gnomicidal

I thought he and Josh Olin for Treyarch both did admirable jobs trying to keep up with their respective communities, both through the praise and heat their games received. It can't be easy to be the public face of companies that create the biggest commercial successes in gaming history.

Slightly Mad raises over $660,000 for Project CARS

Still can't decide if I want to add money to this development. I'd love to see more competitors in the "sim" racing genre, but I'm currently hooked on iRacing right now.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City review: Evacuation plan

@baby sea tuna

I took an online course with University of Phoenix about that. It's not "hands on" experience, per se, but that's probably still helpful, right?

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City review: Evacuation plan

Where is Raccoon City and how much trouble would it be for me to buy my gas there?

Portal 2, Arkham City and BF3 clean up at 2012 BAFTA game awards

@RealityCheck2013

Uncharted 3 was great, but for some reason, Naughty Dog's "set piece, then story" methodology was quite a bit more noticeable than it was in 2.

That being said, I loved Uncharted 3. Graphics were once again amazing, voice acting was fantastic, and the characters were still memorable. But something about Uncharted 3 made it feel a bit more hollow than Uncharted 2. Naughty Dog screwed Uncharted 3 the second they decided to make Uncharted 2 so damn good.
