Yeah, or Toyota. They have been hiding this and other nagging issues for years.
They are way behind Nissan now, and Honda is king in Japan. I'd not be surprised if Toyota got bankrupted. I don't know if it's possible financially now but it could be later.
Who the heck is going to buy a brand that might not respond to basic things like applying pressure to the gas or break pedals, or worse, NOT applying pressure to the gas pedal!
Yeah, i mean really, taking your foot off the gas doesn't slow the input of gas into the engine? Is it like Cruise Lock from hell?
Then Brake DOESN'T stop the unintended acceleration?
Yeah, count me out people.

To whoever has bad things to say to Hyundai, if you haven't had one ever or since 1998, then you just don't know.
The best car 3 people I know have had is a Hyundai, and they have owned Toyota and Honda. The Scoupe was a joke, the Tiburon was the real deal.
The Sonota and Genesis are fantastic as well, and one's previous was an Accent, also a favorite of theirs.
I could definitely see myself in a Genesis, i'm a big guy, but heck, I used to fit well into the Tiburon and it was a sweet ride.
