Um, sales of all iPods are down significantly, and overall MacBook sales are down 10.5% this year, so what success are you taking about? The only product besides the iPad and iPhone that has seen growth this year is the MacBook Air. Cutting back on promos is stupid, especially now that MS is offering free xbox's with any windows PC starting at 699, a full 200-300 dollars cheaper than Apples starting point. If I were a college student in the market, this wouldn't be a tough choice. They could have at least made the gift card for 200 bucks. This is just cheap, Apple.

What's with the downvotes? Do people here seriously think that's attractive? I was a huge Rude Boy in the 80's, and even I'm balking at the Tutone Army paint scheme.

God these things scare the cr*p out of me when I see them on the road. I'm the one in the full size truck, but I'm changing lanes to get as far away from them as possible, because God help them if our two vehicles ever meet at highway speeds.

Actually, it is a real world problem. My 4 drops calls left and right if I hold it wrong, and it frustrates me to no end. I've owned a cell phone for 15 years now, and this is the only one I've ever had to consciously be aware of how i was holding it at all times, and that's just embarrassing. And don't even get me started on the faulty proximity sensor. When I'm not hanging up on people by holding the phone wrong, I'm doing it with my cheek because the stupid thing can't sense my cheek pressed against the screen. I don't care if the 5 is only a slight spec bump over the 4 like the 3Gs was over the 3G, as long as they fix those two issues, I'll be there day one with credit card in hand, and my 4 will be up on eBay and out of my life ASAP.
