Actually, it is a real world problem. My 4 drops calls left and right if I hold it wrong, and it frustrates me to no end. I've owned a cell phone for 15 years now, and this is the only one I've ever had to consciously be aware of how i was holding it at all times, and that's just embarrassing. And don't even get me started on the faulty proximity sensor. When I'm not hanging up on people by holding the phone wrong, I'm doing it with my cheek because the stupid thing can't sense my cheek pressed against the screen. I don't care if the 5 is only a slight spec bump over the 4 like the 3Gs was over the 3G, as long as they fix those two issues, I'll be there day one with credit card in hand, and my 4 will be up on eBay and out of my life ASAP.

You're joking, right? The Fusion is a nice car, but it feels like an older Taurus, whereas the new Taurus feels more like an A6. I feel qualified to make this statement as well, as I'm on my 3rd one now. Don't get me wrong, I'm an Audi fanatic, but if their credit department doesn't start getting their act together, I may well drive home in a Taurus as soon as my lease is up. The used to treat me like a king, but with this 3rd one, it's like they were doing me a favor by letting me lease it from them. Not impressed.

No, the all-time worst case of car product placement was in the last season of Bones, in which Angela and Hodgins get tossed in jail for having too much fun playing with all the gadgets in their new Prius and driving distracted. The Prius was literally so awesome that it got them cracked down on by The Man. When product placement actually drives the plot of the show, that's when we've gone too far.

I'm glad you stopped by, because now I get the opportunity to tell you just how rude, arrogant, and downright bitter every single one of your salespeople has been to me the three times I've stopped by your Dimond location. I'm thrilled that the prospect of real competition terrifies you this much, as this may finally force you to remove the 10-15% markup on all your accessories and 3rd party products, and perhaps hire some staff that aren't snobs. I can walk to your store in about 5 minutes, but as soon as this new store opens, I'll be driving downtown and paying for parking just so I don't have to deal with your sad excuse for a business ever again. Perhaps if you're so concerned about keeping Alaskan dollars local, you should do something to earn that loyalty, like treating your fellow Alaskans better then most New Yorkers treat each other during rush hour.

A bigger trackpad? At the expense of what, the size of the keyboard? I guess there is plenty of room to plat around with on the 15 and 17 inchers, but if they make the keyboards on the 13" any smaller, I might as well go back to my flippin' netbook. Higher resolution screens and an HDMI out would be nice though, or if not a built in port, at least release a dongle that works better than the 3rd Party solutions that are out there now.

Dear Ford,
Could you possibly make the standard instrument cluster a little uglier? Oh, and it would be awesome if you could somehow find a way to make it even more confusing, especially at highway speeds. Love the integration too, as I didn't want to add a superior aftermarket head unit anyway. Super :-)
