Well, I was also part of that. I went to Walmart and got the $199 Xbox Bundle. Picked it up for my brother. And thru the help from some friends, I was able to get Batman ($28) Forza 4 ($28) Dance Central 2 ($15) NBA 2K12 ($35-price match). Then I got a Kinect at Gamestop for ($70). I got everything I was looking for. On a side note though. The 10 pm opening Thursday was a mistake. The crowds were too huge. Its was not that busy last year. I went to the Rockport, TX Walmart. Some guy pulled a lady by her hair, hit her in the face, then took the games out of her hands. Thats how crazy it got. I hope they put the opening back at 5 am. At least the serious shoppers would show up. Not just any person. A little less traffic.
I wish they could remake Baku Baku for the Saturn. It was like Tetris but it was more fun. They used animals and food. It was very addicting. I should have never sold my original Saturn for $100. I had Guardian Heroes, Virtua Fighter Kids, Powerslave (had BattleTanks hidden), Baku Baku, Astal, Nights, Christmas Nights, Magic Night Rayearth, Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, and a few others. ALL FOR $100. : (
I think people are too freaked out by the price. $149 is not that bad considering that you only have to buy one piece of equipment. Ask a Wii user how much they have spent on their motion controllers. Remember that system can support four controllers at once. Same thing with Sony's Move. $100 for only one controller. I wonder if the average PS3 user that buys Move will only buy just one motion controller. Just sayin. People start ranting without seeing the bigger picture.
Wow. I feel really bad for the PS3. I mean I love my 360 but I like have the competition. When 2 companies compete for your dollars, the consumer wins. When there is only 1, then you take what you are given. And the Wii is a toy. Not a game machine.
Don't waste you time with Assasin's Creed. It's repetitive. Way repetitive. I think you should play Bioshock as your first game. And Portal on the side for a change of pace. Then Braid. All brilliant games.
Well, I went shopping on Black Friday. And the hottest sytem that was moving was the 360. (I think it was the GH III) bundles). I could easily find a Wii. The Best Buy store was on the tv, and you could see a huge stacks of Wii's and people were walking by them and not picking them up. I went to a Walmart and it was the same thing. And all I heard the customers ask the clerks that if they had any more 360 systems.
