I would buy Trials HD and Shadow Complex at least.

Unless I am mistaken, Gearbox is located in the DFW area. So, it makes more sense them to do this in Dallas than to drive to Austin.

I dont think the level cap increase will be on this one. Its going to be on Broken Steel, which is the next DLC that is coming out.

I went to Walmart last night also. There were 5 people there, including me and my brother. I was home with the game at 12:07. I had another friend that went to a different walmart and had a similar experience. I know that I will be checking with Walmart first for my future midnight game releases.

I am one of the people brining that number down. I have owned a PS3 since late February and still dont own a game for it. Ive rented a few through Gamefly, but my first game I buy will probably be Metal Gear 4.

To me, the PS3 is a Bluray player that also happens to play games. The 360 is a game system that also happens to play dvds. Unless a certain game is PS3 exclusive or the PS3 version has something significant to offer that the 360 version doesnt, the 360 will continue to be my primary gaming console.

I would be interested to see the attach rate of Bluray disks to PS3s if they could track such things.

Si, we have no idea how much this will cost, but I think it would have to be less than $200 for me to be able to justify it. Why would you pay $249 for a Bluray player when you can get a Bluray player and a game system for $400? I am not a big Sony fan and the PS3 doesnt have a lot of great games yet, but for $150 price difference I'd say its worth it. I would still use the 360 as my primary game machine, but the PS3 has Metal Gear coming up and a few other exclusives.

Oh well, we will see what happens.

If they are going to do this, they need to announce something fast. I am planning on buying a PS3 for the bluray player some time in the next 2 months. I will buy this instead if the price is right and they announce it soon enough. I'm willing to bet now that the format war if over, a lot of people are going to pull the trigger and get a bluray player. MS needs to hurry and get on the market.
