The heat and noise is quite ridiculous. Especially when you live somewhere like Australia at this time of year when the heat is already unbearable. As much as I enjoy my games of the 360, I still think it is one of the most rushed and poorly designed consoles of this generation. In actual fact the only reason I prefer my PS3 for media etc is because of less heat it produces and it is much much much quieter
How does Nintendo think they can get away with telling us what is a hardcore game? If you look at Nintendo's definition of hardcore gaming compared to that of say Microsoft or Sony I think we'd find they're pretty different.
Animal Crossing is not hardcore - its not casual either but I don't think they should be able to get away with telling us that hardcore gamers should like it because it falls into their definition of 'hardcore' For some part, I don't even think Mario classes as a hardcore game either.
Nintendo needs to stop keep downplaying the role of hardcore gamers. While it was an awesome game, Metroid Prime 3 I feel was severely under-hyped. This proves how much care Nintendo has for a hardcore audience. This game would have done so much better if Nintendo had of put the same sort of effort in to marketing it as Wii Sports, Wii Fit and the rest of that casual crap. But they didn't. They believe that hardcore gamers are not worth the marketing to.
Even Sony's LittleBig Planet is more hardcore than anything Nintendo has released recently. I can say with confidence too, that Disaster will be crap; namely because it wouldn't have had the same amount of effort as other games they've made put into it. Nintendo knows it and deep down, I think everyone else knows it.
I could go on, but meh.
My 2 cents.... and not a question either... I think
