I'll pay $20 for a good game like Spore.

Gaming is probably the biggest genre for me. Phone, PIM and Solitaire are the top uses for me.

It was also published on the Inquirer and NBR as well. June 2004!!!

These go for about $400 now - and they play CS!!!

About 100 people came over to read my old Libretto review. Thanks engadget - my puny little blog is most appreciative.

HP's UMPC 2133 to cost $630 when shipping in April?

Here is a U100 review I wrote almost 3 years ago.

I have not posted photos up on the site yet - but you can find them on www.notebookreview.com

The U100 was great, if they could have priced it at under $1000 back then it would have been killer. As it was, it made a great geek or exec tool/toy.

Are "Opus" and "Valhalla" the next, next Xbox 360s?

It doesn't make it a 'unified architecture' if both chips are on one die. They will still be distinct with some form of interconnect on the chip.

It only means that it will be cheaper to produce. Less silicon and fewer traces on the mobo. That could result ina 30-40% size reduction - or maybe PSU in case.

For people that want a gaming notebook but not a $4000 bill, the Gateway FX that is $1199 right now at BB is nice. It has a 8800m GTS and is thinner than most gaming notebooks.

The only problem is finding one. I think demand out stripped supply.

Or just but the Gateway 6831fx that has a 8800 GTS and trounces this for half the price.

was on sale last week for $1250

HP's revamped Pavilion HDX monster now on sale

Jan 23rd 2008 4:02PM (Engadget)
or just get the Gateway P-Series. $1350 at Best Buy, add a faster CPU (T9300 should be $400 tops) and the specs are the same as the HDX.
