The moment I stop playing games to "have fun" or "be entertained" is the moment I want someone to punch me square in the face. If I wanted to behave in a way that had "artistic merit", I would write Andalusian pan-flute jazz and collect 18th-century German expressionist poetry.

The Call of Duty series is full of fun, enjoyable games that deserve all the praise they get.

I don't see any difference between having some left over points in your account that aren't enough to buy anything and having $.50 left in your account like many other systems use.

I took "finishing the game" to mean making a shippable game out of the already-designed game they had. They would need a publisher to front some development money, press the discs, handle marketing, etc. If you read the article, it sounds like most of the design is done, so they wouldn't need someone to step in on the creative aspects of the game.

Um, both of those were published by Microsoft Game Studios.

I'll tell you my one complaint: I have to wait five more days...

I'm pretty sure I heard that they are losing money on this event. Well... the event costs more than all the tickets put together, but they get a massive return in advertising/publicity.

Also, isn't part of the ticket revenue going to a charity?
