Would be coop with 31 people. Unless everyone just gets together to see how destructible the environments really are.

How to play Xenoblade Chronicles if you live in America

@r4in

I think the concern here is that once the console is hacked, it's simply a matter of getting the pirated usenet or Scene files from the internet and putting them on your Wii.

I agree that the console should not have region protection and that people should be allowed to do what they want with their merchandise, but I also think that several people who go through the trouble of hacking their console will then be brought over to the dark side.

Granted, gamers are well known for their discipline and above average morality. However, the justifications for pirating "just one game" to "try it out" can quickly lead to "Holy shit, I can have the entire library of Wii games for free!" without one even realizing that they have become what they despise. It happens to politicians every day.

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon review: Shoot, shoot, shoot, end

I don't know what you said, but I noticed all the replies you received. I really don't like it when comments get deleted, unless it's a pretty valid reason (which, IMO, are rare) or its downright abusive. This admittedly wasn't the best or most informative review, but it wasn't the worst I've seen either.

I also thought some of Mr. McElroy's comment replies were a bit unprofessional, but I also think he's entitled to that if that's the image he wants to project. I thought he must just be in a bad mood, but some of the more recent articles following this were really good and funny. If it improves his writing (not that it's bad in the first place) we should all razz him all the time.

Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is taking a post-E3 relaxation journey

@MarkezJM

It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't hyperlinked like they do, forcing me to always click (tap) them a dozen times in a few seconds , hoping I can trick the lack of code/script into letting me in.

These comics didn't do it for me.

And if we still could get clear comments, which I miss.

Infinity Ward suit against Activision going to trial

The CoD games are relatively fun. That is why so many people keep playing them They do add new things every year, though certainly nothing is overhauled. They are admittedly released too often and the map packs are barely short of wallet rape. I know it's the in thing to bag on the series, but it is undeniable that they are tight and relatively polished games, as shown in the reviews of each one.

I didn't buy Blops, because I don't agree with the treatment of West and Zampella's baby. I stopped buying Activision and Madden games (possibly to my detriment [not that Activision or EA Sports noticed]) because of the BS, and have been pissed off with them since they started allowing Treyarch to use the name to get sales.

I know its the in-gamer thing to come down on them, and this comment would be almost clear if it were on the first or second page, but our hate of 12 year olds, Kotick and his back-handed money grabbing techniques has somewhat blurred our vision.

I hope W&Z take him to the cleaners and utilize the new found funds to kill it at Respawn.

UFC: Personal Trainer video shows Average Joes working out

I hope they end up coming out with some actually difficult P90-esque workout videogames and don't become too worried about inherent lawsuit heart attacks/muscle strains.

This is a really good idea, and the buddies that I have who do local MMA fights and the workouts they have at their gyms would be awesome to have an interface with Kinect. Will it happen? Doubt it.

This looks like its simply a shadow boxing game. Lame if thats the case. Show me some actual sets of real stuff, that you don't technically need the kinect with (push-ups, sit-ups, standing sprints, yoga stretching, etc) combined with a so-so series of shadow boxing, blocking and I'll be all over it.

Splinter Cell: Extinction fan film gets three greenlights

Oh, and "greenlights", funny. I thought at first Ubisoft was signing off on this.

Splinter Cell: Extinction fan film gets three greenlights

I look forward to this, and can only hope that either the acting is good or that its French and subtitled so I won't notice the acting is Sh**. Watching some of "Oldboy" dubbed instead of subtitled ruined the greatness of that film for me.

With Ubisoft opening a film studio it can't be long before they do this film anyway, and hopefully not butchering the many great story driven games they have.
