Besides me getting my Sega Dreamcast, it would have to be getting my Nintendo 64. I don't recall what game(s) I got with it, but I do remember I called my friends and I had like 4 people over that night.
My favorite Christmas memory would have to be back in 2000. I was 10 years old, and my parents weren't exactly rich but I was really too young to understand that yet. I had been begging my parents for a Sega Dreamcast since the previous Christmas.
I woke up Christmas morning to open up the black "sports edition" Dreamcast, which was $200 and it came with NBA 2k and NFL 2k. Plus they bought me the games Caution: Seaman (great game), Sonic, and Mortal Kombat Gold.
Low and behold, Sega discontinued production in March of 2000. I remember I went out to buy Soul Caliber, and the rep at Wal-Mart told me that they don't make Dreamcast anymore. So that was basically $400 down the drain. I loved that console. I actually still pull it out once in a while.
I seriously got to X3F like 3-5 minutes after the sign up was announced. I filled out the application, and when I clicked to submit it, my FireFox browser said "Not responding" -- By the time I got FireFix working again, the sign ups were closed.
