Any news on the beta yet? I got a code for it with Batman AC but so far no invitation to join the beta. First it was to be launched 11/01/11, next 12/01/11, but now we're 12/10/11 and so far no news yet :(

Sooo...long story short: should I pick up Bad Company 2 for 25€ or should I pick up Battlefield 3 for 60€?

Pretty much the reason I skipped ShotgunFest 3 :p

I'd like EA to clarify just what kind of build this is exactly. Because I was really stocked for this game but if the bèta is a -let's say- 90% complete build I'm hugely disappointed! If however it's more like an old alpha-build and things have moved along since this, but due to size restriction this had to make due for a bèta, than OK I can understand that and I might still pre-order BF3...

Lets just hope this isn't going to be the new price point for XBLA games, because most of the time I think even 1200msp is a bit steep :-(

It's a great game and it's good to hear it did well. Hopefully other companies take note and use this as a guide how to revive a stagnating franchise.

I love how every time every gamedeveloper says "..so we have this massively engaging storyline...blablabla". And then it turns out to be a total mess and then, with a straight face, they say exactly the same thing when the next game rolls out. It's gonna suck, nobody's gonna understand it and nobody's gonna care. Get over it!

My two cents? Retribution for bringing a half-finished, overly-hyped, crappy game to the market at full retail price. Yes I'm looking at you BRINK. :-s
