Noticed "Earthen Ring Pathfinder " (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=40436) as I was making my way through Stormwind for the Midsummer achievements in cat form. Appear to be hidden/underground and were added in 3.3.3. Any idea what they are?

Aren't these Dreamcast ports the exact same ones that have been on Gametap forever?

They knew they cheesed the encounter in 10-man. They knew they cheesed the encounter in 25-man. There should be no surprises there was a ban here.

Honestly, what did people expect the former leader of one of the most hardcore guilds in EQ to say? He came to Wow when it was still (comparitively) crazy hardcore. If he had it his way, the game would be PVE only.

The team is now essentially being run by Tom Chilton, the sell-proclaimed "pvp guru". Don't like PVP? Deal with it.

I've been putting Windows 7 on all of my Macs and it runs great. At this point I divy up the drives on each half for Snow Leopard and half for Windows 7. If I want to work on the web or with photos and stuff I go Mac side; if I want to play games I go 7 side. The 9600 in the MacBook Pro is actually not too bad for games considering it's not a "gaming" laptop. I get about 4 hours of battery life in Windows 7 too, which is nice.

A lot of people on the Wow Raids & Dungeons forum tend to complain based on normal difficulty (which Blizzard has repeatedly said they want more accessible). Yeah, there's a small group of vocal complainers that actually beat the hard mode stuff quickly, but their happiness seems tied to how many times they wipe learning something. Eve is probably a better game for them.

Meh... as an existing PS3 owner I have no incentive to buy this. I was really hoping they could get their heads out of their collective asses and release a PS3 that can emulate a *9 year old* console. It's ridiculous that, to date, I've only bought 2 games for the thing (Metal Gear Solid and Infamous -- the latter was a good game). Otherwise all I do with mine is play BluRay movies.

If this is even half true it'll bring a lot of people who quit back to the game. There's a great amount of heart for "Vanilla Wow". Plus, see Ogrimmarr split in 2 would just be awesome.
