Could this spell trouble for Sony, the end of Madden on the PS3?

This brings back memories of the Saturn vs Sony days. PS3 (like Saturn) is a hard system to develop for. That resulted in a lot of PS1 exclusives because PS1 was easier to develop for.

No matter how you spin it this is bad for SONY. Madden is the best selling game in America and is an important game for winning the console race.

If the sales for the PS3 Madden slump, then this is bad news for Sony...in America of course. Do you guys remember how EA sales on the Saturn were? awful! That forced EA to go with SONY.

The more nintendo turns its back on the hardcore gamer the more the gaming media will turn its back on Nintendo. This article is a great example, but to be fair, it is very accurate.

I notice a lot less coverage and enthusiasm for nintendo and its products. Especialy from sites like gamespot, kotaku, joystiq, just to name a few. You mostly see every thing xbox360 related which is really the darling console of the gaming press.

Microsoft could come out on top this genration if they play there cards right. they already have the gaming press in there fat pockets not to mention some great 3rd party cronnies.

Why did you scratch off "tacking on"? Come on ludwig we all know that the wii is a gimmicky 2 gamecubes duct taped together, with games that are tacked on ports!

This article has no credibility. First off your title is misleading, because you base your whole article around Brian Dryer and publisher "frontline studio". I think they should be wary of making games for "Nintendo" when their studio puts out crap like "Chicken Shoot" on the market. Gimme a break! Have they made any good games?

Ludwig what makes you think we should buy into what "Frontline" says? Now if this were kojima speaking I'd give it some serious thought.
