Just another butt-hurt bot whos scared that if ANYONE thinks a system other than his is good, he won't be able to play it anymore. Sad little fanboys.

A good start, but a couple of things.
1. They forgot to include the fact that to have a rechargeable wireless controller you have to fork out $20 extra on the 360.

2. This needs to be more than a press release, it needs to be POP advertising, preferably big and bold.

3.This doesn't get Sony out of needing a price cut badly and they need to realize it. We can say all we want about having to pay for these things on the 360, but the fact does remain that you can take an Arcade home hook it up and play games just fine. These are extras, pure and simple and while MS vastly overcharges for them the fact remains that to just play games, you don't need them.

Does anyone here remember taking part in this? I know Nielsen never asked me what I'm playing.

Look, my PS3 is probably my favorite console out of all the ones I've ever owned, but Home is garbage and Dan Hill is smoking crack if he thinks this will ever be a system seller.

I've logged in twice and all I see in it is a place where morons can congregate when they get bored of xbox live and internet message boards. Hell, theres even an article on joystiq about the fine art of quincy-ing. what a grand social experiment.

and if Sony weren't content enough to try and gouge us with "premium" themes for the XMB, try spending real money on items that will never add a thing to any worthwhile or entertaining experience on your PS3.

If theres any kind of potential for something worthwhile, let alone revolutionary in Home, it hides it very well.

I got one question for Dan Hill. Where do you buy your crack?

I've logged into Home twice, and It seemed like nothing more than a place to give morons a voice (as if internet message boards and xbox live didn't fill that requirement fantastically already) crossed with a place where Sony could gouge my wallet with the most useless crap I've ever seen.

Seriously, Sony's canceling promising games just because they lack online components and instead sinks money into an app that bores and annoys much, much more than entertains.

Whatever potential this has, it hides it very well.

Maybe I'll finally start playing this again.

If you look at it from the perspective of the 360 is way more powerful than the Wii, $50 cheaper and STILL couldn't sell half as many consoles, it kind of tells you something. At least the PS3 has a prohibitive price as an excuse. ouch

If it has managable load times, then it's a good thing theres no install. It's shaping up like Guerilla Games could show just about everyone how to program for PS3 now.

Yeah, it's showing the controller being charged, with the keyboard attached.

I have the Dual Charge Station, and it's pretty slick. $30 and it charges 2 dualshocks on the stand and has 2 additional usb ports for other controllers/peripherals on the side. Stand lights up when charging and fully charged, looks damn slick too
