Is Activision determined to drive its best studio - Bizarre Creations - into the ground?
They came up with Blur - easily the best arcade racing game of the past few years and thanks to no real marketing effort from parent co, it tanks.
Same thing happens this week with 007 Blood Stone, outsold by a remake of a decade old game on a console which is barely superior to the machine on which it made its debut.
Of course GT5 is going to take longer to develop than F1 2010 - a game with hundreds of cars is always going to take longer than one which is only ever going to have 24.
For me, a game which is fun to play will always win over a game that has a lot of content but which is less fun to play. The sense of speed and handling are far superior to anything GT has ever presented in the past.
Okay Joystiq, you posted something with Sebastian Vettel in it, but why, why, why have you completely avoided posting anything about F1 2010?
In my opinion it's easily the best sim driving game of the past few years. It's far more exciting than Forza or Gran Turismo and it's based on the highest profile racing series in the world.

It's well worth $19.99 and the gameplay is far more fun than anything I've ever experienced in a GT title so far.
