I can level 2-3 alts "trying out" the item before I get any sort of clarification from a GM.

To be honest, I would have done exactly the same thing he did.

It is obvious he knew, as well as everyone with him, that face rolling through Ulduar in minutes was going to alarm a few people... In no way do I think he expected to get away with it.

And to be completely fair, If he could have done A LOT worst by going into PVP or even wiping out a section of Mobs where people were questing, that I would have seen worthy of a permanent ban, because it's affecting other peoples experiences.

I think Blizzard should have taken everything they received from that run and possible banned them for a day or so, as a warning.
