Nintendo tells developers not to share digital sales numbers
Jan 5th 2012 9:36PM (Joystiq)I'm aware that Steam that does not share sales figures, but consider this. Steam did not become the de facto source for PC gaming by giving the finger to their user base like Nintendo does. Although Steam is not perfect, it did a lot more right than wrong.

The dev side of things by Valve is indeed slow (they are still on the Japanese development schedule), but that has little to do with the online service that is Steam.
