I'm not going to say shave it, but rather cultivate it. As is, it kindof looks like a baby tribble died on his face, but with a little time and proper grooming he could rock a Lemmy 'Stach and be the rock star of the game design world.

Not my creation but if you Haven't heard of the band "The Protomen" I would defiantly check them out. They do a rock opera based on Megaman. In a world where the term "Epic" is massively overused I would say they qualify in the most literal of senses.

I'm glad at least one of you mentioned the "Small fire flower" glitch/secret. I was beginning to think I had imagined that all those years ago because no one I know has ever done it except me!

There are several secrets I feel personally that trump the ones listed in this weeks post. First and foremost the SMB 1-3 infinite 1up trick(Totally more bad ass than the puny hidden 1up on 1-1). Just don't get too many otherwise it is an instant death sentence.

The "Breathless Bowser" secret in SMB3 where bowser doesn't shoot fireballs.

In SMB3 after you get the first 2 warp whistles and get to world 2 use the first WW and then use the second after you get to the warp zone and it takes you to world 8 directly.

Not as good but also worth mentioning: If you beat an airship in smb3 with tanooki, hammer mario or frog mario you get a different message from the king. The SMB3 world 3-9 infinite 1ups.

Also, the only time I can think of there being an actual debug menu or real "cheat" in a "mario" game is in Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land you can get the debug menu by doign the following:

Pause the game, then press Select 16 times. A box will appear over lives, time, or coins. To use Debug Mode, hold A or B and press Left or Right to move the box over a number. To change the number, press Up or Down.

You can also change Wario's hat by pressing A + B to move the box to Wario. Once it's there, press Start. Each time you do, Wario's hat will change.
