While I don't live in Baton Rouge, I do live in Brandon, FL and saw this weekend that they are building a new Apple Store in our mall. The closest is in Tampa about 30 miles away.

Do any of you know how to find out when stores that are under construction are supposed to open?

I'm in Tampa and we don't have that channel yet. Just checked.

I did talk to a buddy of mine who is a FIOS installer, and he did say that we are supposed to get a bunch of new HD channels "soon". Whenever that is.

I'm really not even sure why developers are bothering to put out games now that Halo 3 is out.

They need to at least give people a month before they put out a new game. The next game I plan on getting is Guitar Hero 3. They are at least waiting until October 29th. Smart.

Did anyone else notice the really creepy face in the background of the tutorial for Space Giraffe? Play the tutorial again. Its worth it just for the nightmares that its sure to cause you for the next 3 nights. My wife says that its satan.

Funny, I wonder if he has gotten other calls because as soon as I said "Bioshock" he said "not out yet" very, very fast.

I am really interested to see if this game is any good. I tired of football games pretty quick because nowadays they (meaning the EA ones) all feel the same as the year before. Maybe thats a good thing to some, but to me, its hard to keep at it (also doesn't help that I'm addicted to achievements either...).

They would really get my money if they did what they did when ESPN NFL 2K5 came out and made the price cheaper than Madden. Couldn't beat that $19.99 price!
