How to update a Vita game

@devwild

I agree, it's pretty ugly. The Vita has such nice hardware, just make the splash screens cleaner...

Nice to see Mortal Kombat up the list. It has a special place in my heart, as back back low punch and down forward low punch are ingrained in my mind permanently whenever I play a fighting game.

Review: PlayStation Vita [updated for US launch]

I don't want it to do poorly, but my expectations are low. The hardware is fantastic, what we've seen of the games looks great, but I'm not seeing this device getting popular because it's just one more thing to carry around with me. I love my PSP, but when I'm bored in class, I'm playing games on my phone. When I'm at home, I'm playing 360 or messing around on my laptop. I'm not on long car trips at almost any point.

For my own purposes, I don't see space for this device. I would appreciate if some other people chimed in here to comment on when they would use their Vita, but I'm just not seeing a time slot in my day for it.

I mean, other than gaming on the can. Obviously.

I agree, but it says resistance on the cover, so that's good enough for most of the people that are gonna buy this. I thought resistance 1 and 2 were interesting, but I wasn't compelled to get the 3rd. I know it reviewed really well, but it just didn't leave me wanting.

Kinda similar to God of War, but Ready at Dawn did a hell of a job on the PSP iterations. Only games I bought on my PSP on launch day, although I picked up crisis core about a week after launch.

Meh, sometimes a compelling single player experience is all you need for a game, at least if you don't buy it new or if you pick it up new a year later. Then again, I've entered that stage of gaming where multiplayer is a confusing and frustrating experience where your head is constantly blown off by 14 year olds who are 9 hours into their gaming session.

Oh, getting old =(

Did you finish skyrim already? I'm holding off on Skyrim myself because I know I won't be responsible keeping up with classes, and I'm working my way up through Morrowind and Oblivion first (picked em both up for 30 bucks total!). While decent games (Oblivion is much more entertaining than Morrowing, imo), I know Skyrim would be too much to resist.

Ok, you obviously prefer to turn arguments into the special olympics, so I'm getting out before it's too late. Have fun with that.
