Amazon.ca ships out a few Vitas early
Feb 9th 2012 1:25PM (Joystiq)Erm, you got offended to open your first message by calling me ignorant and stupid. I don't think you can insult me twice for making a joke, then try to take the high road.

Feb 9th 2012 12:32PM (Joystiq)Are you THAT anal about your entire life, or have you ever enjoyed anything?
Feel free to use the 2/13 to represent the entire country. For every 13 people, there's 2 vitas. No need to fly off the f*cking handle. Take a chill pill, it's not that big of a deal... It was one of those "joke" things people on this website talk so much about.

Feb 9th 2012 11:19AM (Joystiq)I own and enjoy my PSP. I'm sure the Vita will be a relative success, especially in Asia, just like the PSP. It was more a jab at Canada, but let's be honest here. Canada is one of the most wonderful places in the world.
As for 2 of 13 people in canada buying it, 15.3% of the population owning your system sounds pretty solid to me.
Breaking Bad RPG concocted in video
Feb 1st 2012 6:12PM (Joystiq)I agree, spoiler alert would be appreciated. I'm caught up on the series, but I was surprised it went into such specific detail about the end of season 4. I assumed it wouldn't be as awesome, and would have been around 40 seconds long with Walter cooking, then getting arrested or somesuch.
Turned out it was way better than I expected.

Jan 23rd 2012 5:28PM (Joystiq)Have you tried it before? I was a little apprehensive, but after I took the plunge, I realized that there was some pretty cool stuff they could do with it. I really wanted to play Gunstringer, and that game was tons of fun. My friends all enjoy kinect adventures, so we get a little bit of that in almost every day. Give it a try!

Heh, but on a serious note,@skorpeyon, give kinect a try, and you'll change your mind. Controlling the dashboard is suddenly a "neat-o!" kind of experience using either your hands or your voice. Playing fruit ninja is just a blast, and simple enough for anyone to enjoy. Kinect Adventures has a fun little variety of things to try, and the Gunstringer had tons of laughs and mixes up the gameplay to keep things interesting the whole game.
Point being, It's an intuitive and fun experience that anyone can get into. Give it a shot, and I'm sure you'll change your mind about it. I haven't had a chance to pick up any other kinect games (I'm waiting for child of eden and rise of nightmares to get cheap!), but if the first round of games are any sign, the games are fun, even the recycled kinect adventures.
Why Soul Calibur Still (Quietly) Burns After More than a Decade
Jan 23rd 2012 5:17PM (Joystiq)Ezio doesn't clash so much with the other characters, although the art style is still a bit disjointed. He uses a blade, just like everyone else, and unless they include bombs or guns for him, it shouldn't be such a big deal. Now, Yoda, on the other hand, was a terrible addition because he "seemed" like you had an unfair advantage because of his size, (Oddjob in goldeneye, anyone?). Ezio should fit just fine.
