NintendoWare Weekly: Super Mario Land 2, escapeVektor

In the world pictured in the screen shot above with the giant Mario, does anyone remember the stage that was placed on his crotch? And the stage itself was made up of giant balls?

Did anyone else find that kind of odd for a Mario game?

Green Day: Rock Band more familiar to 'core audience' than The Beatles, MTV Games says

May 14th 2010 4:05PM (Joystiq)
Please, can we stop with the generationalism?

Yes, The Beatles were extremely important to modern music. Yes, more young people know more about Green Day than The Beatles. But that's the new music that's been around them while they were growing up, so it's to be expected. And as great as The Beatles were, you can say the Beatles wouldn't have existed without Chuck Berry and so on and so on until you get down to the sounds of caveman banging rocks together.

The world isn't as stupid and uncultured as you might like to think it is.

@Tony: I agree, cartoony isn't special to the Behemoth, but this is really close to Dan Paladin's style.

@Everyone else: I'll take your downvotes as a "no, I can't."

Help save (another) arcade with Stride's $25,000 competition

Jerry, nothing you've said is false but one thing you've left out is that something is lost in the transition from physical to digital gaming interaction.

Not that one's better than the other, but there is a certain wonderful vibe about the glory days of the arcade that XBLA and PSN will never be able to recreate.

"Oh, and as to the libels above, get an attorney."

Sounds like a good idea. You're a lawyer, right? Oh, wait, nevermind, you were disbarred for being a worthless douche.

Please go meet Jesus as soon as possible.
