Bioshock: no multiplayer, demo, or special edition

Jan 22nd 2007 8:19PM (Joystiq)
SS2 added co-op post release with a patch. I would hope they could do that here too. SS2 was a great co-op game.

Geek, nerd, or dork?

8/9 Geek 1/9 Nerd (SW/LotR soundtracks ftw).

Also API docs are very sexy.

Today's hottest game video: A candle in the Wii

The remote just uses the two IR sources as a reference to find it's position for the pointer. The sources don't do any data sending themselves.

Nintendo sells out of Wii component cables

Oooor you could use one of your cheap USB Flash Sticks as a memory card, until they release a 100gb HDD, hook it up to your standard def TV, and get Gears of War for it. Then you have a 360 and an awesome game for only $150. I played GoW on a cheap ass old 19" TV and it still looked fantastic

Yeah this is pretty sweet. Cole was hilarious in the game from what I played. The game itself actually has a pretty fantastic orchestral score when you're playing.

Star Wars PC collection ships next week

Yoda Stories was awesome. That's all I have to say about that.

More hearsay about modern Call of Duty

"The major bullet point posted in this report is that each rendered head will feature 16 critical points of contact, allowing players to experiment with trick shots like spinning an enemy's helmet by shooting the corresponding point. Allegedly, you'll even be able to blast off your enemy's ear."

Wow... if multiple precision of headshots is a selling point, this sounds like major fail. Why would they move from the second most saturated FPS market, to the most saturated market? Boring.
