Chris Sims is Hugo Strange! I can't believe I didn't get that before.

Develop: what inspires Mizuguchi

"I wish that article was longer and more in-depth..."

At least it wasn't as clumsily written as Next Gen's other piece about Mizuguchi:

LucasArts: inflating budgets and delays are "inexcusable"

True. I too felt cheated by KOTOR 2's weak ending.

But there's a reason even big budget movies (can) come in on time and on budget -- they plan well, they work to the plan, and when things go off, they make sacrifices elsewhere. And these days, blockbuster films employ way more person-hours than games.

Of course, they also spend more time in preproduction than most game dev houses do, possibly because that's how the movie biz is set up to work (contracts) while the game studios employ people full-time.

The smoke and claustrophobic dimensions ("mini-cubicle" is right) were seriously off-putting, but then again, the biggest plus was that it was a place to sit down after walking all day and get connected for a relatively cheap price.

Yeah, I use a day-by-day calendar stand for my DS. It's outstanding for stylus-heavy games.

If you're not going to be providing full feeds, you really should consider putting a "read more" message at the bottom of your extracts. The feed for _this very message_ looked like the full text of a brief post, not the first part of a longer one.

... and given how often formerly secret tobacco documents have shown the honesty and pure heart of Big Tobacco, we'd be fools not to assume the best-case scenario until absolutely, positively proven wrong.
