I've been really happy with this season, and wished they had done this three seasons ago, and avoided the whole Lana's a witch/guy from Supernatural season to have hurried it up.

Just a note: here in Australia, they only show a 60 minute version (although it should be noted we have less ads per hour than you guys).
The sixty minute show runs pretty well, you only get one song from the musicians, which is fine by me.
Whenever I have watched SNL either when I've been in the states, or a US copy, I do feel like it goes on forever and ever.
I say go with the sixty minute version, and tighten everything up.

I know this quite embarrasing: I think that "Get Smarter: Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control" movie may actually be a sequel/prequel/whatever to Dumb & Dumber. Weren't they the character names? I think the Smarter/Dumber thing suits, plus the cash-in on the positive hype that I think the Get Smart movie may get.

I think that in general - this is correct. Video game journalism for the most part is childish at best, biased and untruthful at worst.
However, there is one shining beacon in video game journalism and that is "EDGE" magazine from the UK, for the last 10 years the quality of writing in this magazine has remained high.
THey have in-depth articles, they have integrity in reviews ( only 4 games have been rated 10 out of 10 - or maybe 3 - I'm not sure ) and they have a beautiful design. Last time I was in the US (2004), I bought it from either Borders or Barnes & Noble, so if you can't find it at your local newsagent check it out there.
