Breakfast Topic: If you could add game mechanic to WoW what would it be

Apr 28th 2009 9:02AM (WoW)
Dont know if this was mentioned, but this mechanic described by lesley, once actually worked in vanilla wow! Okay only for hunters and it was seen as bug of course and fixed at some patch...

You could cast some spells during flights at that time and as hunter, when you cast some special aspect (i think it was eagle), you would do that animation and fall of the mount. Most of the time you died, but hey how much faster could you travel sometimes!! just great!!

I really wish i had this eject button back again =)

Forum post of the day: Life Tap dancing

Feb 23rd 2009 11:54AM (WoW)
Thats what im talking about Beardy, since i got my fouth piece, i always life tap when hat the beginning of my rot. Its very usefull and lost DPS if not done!

And i would only add, that using excessive LifeTapping, not only freaks every healer out, it is also not good for your DPS!
Every LifeTap will cost you DPS and a good WL wont let this happen. So either you use it wisely and probably wont bother anybody ^^

My only question, does it make sence to keep the buff from the t7 SetBoni up by using LifeTap every 10s is going to push your DPS. I got the feeling it will make the DPS-Cut not as bad as it use to, but wont generate more DPS during the fight then without using it.

Also i found out, when telling a healer not to heal at the beginning (or in general) when my HP drops between 95%-90% not to heal!
But often the response is, "dont worry, got enough mana and nothing else to do.."-sort of anwser ^^
So i keep on overhealing myself with siphon life & haunt :P

Phil Harrison sees downloads as the future of gaming

Dec 4th 2008 5:22PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
sadly that most of the download versions of games are only slightly cheeper than the hardcopies.
If my favorite gamestore told the truth, Spore download was couple of bucks more expensive than the DVD-Version.

Now even if its 10-20 bucks cheeper than the hardcopy, i could easily sell it afterwards when im tired of it for 10-20 bucks, so i dont see the bright side.
