Something about Sony PR is just incredibly dickish. That has a lot to do with why so many people loathe them, I think. It's one thing to take a shot at the competition, but Sony is consistently brutal about it. It always feels below the belt.
...not that I'm saying the other two guy's hands are clean or anything...but it wouldn't hurt Sony to say SOMETHING not totally cruel about Nintendo or Microsoft.

Since when does The Hollywood Reporter and Variety (in that other story from earlier today) report on video games? I thought they were straight movie news related type stuff?


Anyhow, I don't know if a $50 dollar price cut is really enough to push a lot of people over the edge, to be honest. It doesn't seem like all that much, really. A $100 dollar price drop would be a lot more sensible, in my opinion.
Although I wouldn't be surprised that MS is hesitant (internally) to even drop it by $50, given the billion dollar+ warranty thing.

I was wondering that, too. That was the only game, at least from Microsoft, that I was looking forward to hearing about.
