Crysis 2 multiplayer beta footage reminds us not to get caught looking at the scenery

Nov 9th 2010 7:01AM (Joystiq)
I played this at GameCity, was absolutely amazing. It was running on source code directly on the Xbox 360. They wiped the hard drives after.

:'(

FIFA 11 'Personality+' is not quite what we were thinking

Stop calling it Soccer! It's Football.

That's like us calling Basketball, Handball. You wouldn't like it either.

FOOTBALL.

Xbox 360 slim 17% smaller than original, incapable of RROD-ing

@shoan
@ redking315

Erm don't you mean that all the hands on have said it's a lot quieter? Some review says it's a problem now it's so quiet because of the new ring of light being crappy, they don't know if it's on or not compared to the old version which still makes my room rumble.

Stupid comment system! :/

TGS 2009: Japanese developers love on Project Natal

Sep 26th 2009 3:41PM (Joystiq)
@ chris:

"The depth sensor consists of an infrared projector combined with a monochrome CMOS sensor, and allows the Project Natal sensor to see in 3D under any ambient light conditions.[1][16] The sensing range of the depth sensor is adjustable, with the Project Natal software capable of automatically calibrating the sensor based on gameplay and the player's physical environment, such as the presence of chairs.[17]"

Xbox 360 Elite for $249 (with rebate) until Oct. 5

Sep 22nd 2009 11:25AM (Joystiq)
@ Chris: Is not the most reliable of connections. Sometimes you can get randomly disconnected from your router and you just have to reset your router. Don't say you've never been randomly disconnected from your router ever.

@ PS3 Fans: I'm still not convinced on a PS3, the install and update times would annoy me because i'm a very impatient person. The free online gaming is very appealing however the 360's system still offers the best online service with the party chat and even simple invites and cross game chatting. I'm considering a PS3 Slim purchase along with MAG eventually but convince me please!

Forza Motorsport 3 will ship on two discs

Jun 4th 2009 8:03AM (Joystiq)
But all the cars on Forza are customizable? I dunno about GT5. I do believe GT4 had 700 cars but not of them have crash physics so i guess i'd choose Forza because it's more realistic. But GRiD ftw!

Sony announces new PS3 motion controller

Did you see Joystiq's "hands-on" with Natal? Try reading it before you think that Natal was faked you plum.
