How come the pre-sale is still not offered for the PC version?

I am also an avid reader, and I LOVE the books. Hell, I got excited seeing this - knowing the opening shot was Winterfell. I suppose I should rent the HBO series... lol Anyway, It looks interesting. Nothing else looks great out there so I will prob get it. Hope it doesn't disappoint. :)

The books are freaken incredible. I got them at audible.com and listen to them in the car. I have actually pulled in the driveway at home - then SAT IN MY CAR for a bit because I didn't want to turn them off! Sure takes the sting out of waiting for kids when I am their taxi! lol

Well, I went to Amazon to order it, too - no PC version. Why the heck do they do that? I either have to buy a console or wait until my son pisses me off so I can take his xbox from him.

I plan on *buying* it, but I am so freaken busy most of the time, I don't have "me" time to play. I suppose I should finish Dragon Age II first before I buy a new game, but I just can't get into it... That new Elder Scrolls game looks cool, too. Oh, what to do... lol But considering how much enjoyment you get out of a game, it is worth the money.. to me, at least.

You know - another good point of the Elite service is that I can purchase that for my son for Christmas - and it's the gift that keeps on giving. I don't have to hear him begging me for map pack money all year... lol If you subtract the cost of a few map packs from the initial cost, it is really not that much more to be able to access some neat features. He also told me it came with some characters or something like that. From a parent's perspective, the Elite service sounds like it is worth it... just sayin'. lol

You know - there are several issues here. First DA:O was awesome. The story grabbed you, it was long & epic, you could start off many different ways and take a different road each time. You could tweak everything. There even was a handsome man who you could shag.

DA2 did have better combat, it was smoother and it still had some great humor. I think my grumbling about the game came from the lack of new scenery. The repeated alleys, caves and only city of Kirkwall. I'll be honest, I played DA:O through like 4-1/2 times. I still haven't finished DA2. I prob will go back to it, but I have no burning desire. My lame ass CALLED OF WORK to play DA:O... lol

Anyway, I might buy the DLC, I don't know. I certainly won't be adding that date to my calendar. I really think they should just work on DA3. Make it so good that I schedule a few vacation days for the week it comes out and prepare a few meals for the fam ahead of time because I won't want to stop playing to cook.

But again, the hype from DA2 was big... and then look what happened. I will tell you this - all those sites that have DA2 rated 9.5 and "Game of the Year" - I think a hell of a lot less of them now.

You know - to all those "hackers" out there - in case you haven't figured it out - the rest of the world thinks you are a bunch of idiots and doesn't find this kind of crap funny.

No - it still sucks.
