Do you seriously think that Quantic Dreams havent run tests on the 360 ?

I guarantee you they have and they obviously didn't like the results.

Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 have already buried the argument the ps3 is the more powerful console. Accept it, why do you guys keep on trying to flip it ?

the architecture is very different you have:
the cell ppe -- cpu
the cell spe -- cpu + gpu
nvidia rsx --gpu.

It is also very similar if you ignore the spes you are left with the cell ppe which is the exact same as the xbox360 cpu and you have the ati graphics card for 360.. To do a cheap port if you ignore the cell spe's you can port to the ps3 -- a triple core 360 to a single core ppe obviously the 360 ports will end up better.. As soon as they begin using the spes it buries the 360..


This was always the case it has been proved time and time again by ps3 exclusives. Just look at Uncharted 2 name me one xbox360 game that comes close, the graphics dont look that good ? Seriously ? Who are you trying to fool exactly ?

Seriously how can these same arguments exist post uncharted, uncharted 2, post killzone 2 ?

I was looking at this and I was quite jealous actually, I saw some pricing about the web based player will cost about £15 a month or something thereabouts and thought it was brilliant.

I re-read through it and you have to pay an amount £10-15 a month if you have the basic package if you have certain packages then you get free access to the web tv, otherwise its about £47 a month for the complete package, which you will watch on your internet connection, which Sucks ass !!

If you already have a sky subscription then its yearly gold membership, possibly £15 extra per month if you dont have sky broadband (or you can switch to sky broadband) , if you dont have sky tv then its from £19 a month (basically the same as freeview, which costs 0, no sky sports no sky movies.. for that its £47 a month) + gold membership.. Netflix is a much better deal..

Also you will consume bandwidth like a mofo, I have a monthly cap...

Edge and Eurogamer are both pretentious nonsensical bullshit spewing biased review sites / magazines....

They both have hidden agendas, are completely elitist, their reviews dont make any sense its just airy fairy bullshit that explain nothing its horrendous to read. Also both have a massive hard on for anything xbox 360 and given a chance will try to knock anything ps3 related..

leo are you running 3.01 or just 3.00 ? You have to manually update to run 3.01 it wont auto update and 3.01 fixes some stability issues.

Uncharted 2 hasn't caused me problems, but I am on the MAG beta (damn the game rocks its so freaking awesome) after the cut off period, they only run the game between 5-10 i think they cut it off and then 12-4 once it cuts off it crashes my ps3, dont know why but its happened twice it locks it up completely and I have to reboot.

Also I was in home went to go to the live stage area and that caused my ps3 to lock up twice in a row, havent been back since.

I think this new firmware still has issues, 3.10 coming in october apparently will include cross game voice chat as well and hopefully will fix these issues..

Im so surprised, eurogamer the biggest 360 fanboy site gave uncharted 2 a 10/10, that only says 1 thing, this game has to be amazing, they couldn't even bullshit it they had to admit the game is brilliant..
