@Zorque

Cobalt is developed by Oxeye Game Studio. Mojang is just the publisher.

@badjokes All new superzoom cameras can all zoom while recording videos now, so I would expect no different from this one.

Europe gets more incentive to purchase PSP Go with new bundle

Dec 2nd 2009 8:08AM (Joystiq)
There will ALWAYS be a new PSP every year (at least, up till now).

Unless you are desperate for gaming, I say hold out till PSP2 (because admit it, the PSP is aging), whenever that will be.

Rock Band Unplugged has no more 'planned' weekly DLC

Dec 2nd 2009 7:58AM (Joystiq)
I have both the PSP and iPhone versions.

The PSP RBU is way superior for me, but that's because I'm saying from a one-player point of view. The switching between different instruments kept it interesting as well (with the option to play one single instrument available). The lack of multiplayer on the PSP is disappointing, but none of my friends have a PSP anyway.

The iPhone RBU just played like a very much improved TapTap (the music was spot-on, unlike TapTap where I don't even know what I'm tapping to half the time). However, the screen is a little too tight making me miss/mispressed buttons all the time. The multiplayer was a great idea, but because no one else with an iPhone bought RBU, I'm missing it out. I doubt I want to play with my phone when I'm with my friends anyway (Don't we have better things to do?).

Let's not even talk about the graphics (for the record, iPhone will never surpass the PSP). And gaming isn't gaming without buttons.

I thought they confirmed PSN Game Cards in EU in the article above. Is it not true?

PSP Go upgrade incentive rewards 3 free games to UMD owners

Sep 24th 2009 12:03PM (Joystiq)
The original announcement here:
http://www.scee.presscentre.com/Content/Detail.asp?ReleaseID=4861&NewsAreaID=2

"Promotion starts on 1 October 2009 and runs until 31 March 2010. Promotion open to owners of a PSP-1000, 2000 or 3000 and at least one UMD, when they purchase a PSPgo. Titles may vary by territory and age restrictions apply."

Any UMD will do, not necessarily the game you want to download.

'Project V' is an old-school SHMUP

I miss vertical-scrolling! Ditto adolson, I find side-scrolling not appealing at all (and I'll be very disappointed if this game is).

My first and only vertical-scrolling game I stuck with was Tyrian. Anyone else plays that game? I know it's not a very good one, but it has a place in me and my brother's childhood :D
