It may sound like typical CoD criticism, but I would genuinely like to find out what percentage of Call of Duty: Black Ops or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players actually finished the campaign.

Did you ever think for one minute that maybe that song you hadn't heard before might be good if you tried playing along to it? I used to detest Avenged Sevenfold, absolutely detest them, but dammit if their songs aren't fun to play on drums. These games have opened my ears to lots of artists that I used to be adverse to for one reason or another, and especially ones I have never heard of. I don't just use it for a party jukebox or try to "learn" a new instrument, I use it to discover new and old music on common grounds, in an environment that forces me to be all ears.
