There were people who LIKED Resident Evil 5?

Easily the worst of the series, including the Outbreak fiasco. Zombies riding motorcycles, big fat zombies shooting chain guns, dog spawners in crates, anonymous locations, forced co-op ... ugh. Can't we have our Survival Horror back?

District 9 was great, mostly because the 'message' the director tried to get across was quickly abandoned in favor of good buddy action and sci-fi weapon fights.

Children of Men is just womb worship. Plus it has the worst actress of all time, Juliane Moore (okay there are actually worse actresses, but Moore is particularly annoying because people for some reason think she's good).

No, I get that it wasn't serious, but you could choose to play it semi-seriously. I just hope that's still possible. In general I don't think 'wacky' is funny anyway, and if they are pushing 'wacky' on you it could get old really fast.

STALKER is a great game - much more believable and involving post-apocalyptic environment than Fallout 3 - but man I wish they'd actually finish one. It took months of patching to make the first playable, and I was never able to beat the second b/c of bugs in the final boss fight.

I really hope all the screens we've seen aren't from the actual story. The original DR was only good if you tried to play it semi-seriously, although massive leather-bound rapist lesbian security guards and killer clowns made that very hard. I really don't want the game to force me to run around with moose antlers and fight zombies in a wrestling ring. With the tech to display thousands of zombies this could be such a good 'serious' game.

I am hereby starting a petition to remove the word 'quirky' from the English language. It only describes things that are horrible, like wanna-be cutesy, crap films such as "(500) Days of Summer" and untalented people like Zooey Deschanel.

It works because watermelons, fried chicken, and Kool-Ade are predominantly Southern delicacies. Since the South has pretty much always had the larger black population, it became intertwined with racial stereotypes.

All I remember is shooting around the Statue of Liberty and Easter Island, but yeah this is a blast-from-the-past for me too.

Hilariously, still not worth the price.

It shows the intelligence of this community that a comment like "duh-hurrr your name suits you well" is considered witty and noteworthy. Because I picked this name by accident, you see. I never saw the potential for such a comment. Thanks Oscar Wilde.

L4D is bland crap because it forces you to play in its manner: you HAVE to play co-op, and you HAVE to do it on its terms. Any game that force-immobilizes you to make up for its design flaws gets a big thumbs-down from me. We can't make people want to play together, or make good objectives that require it, so let's just FORCE them to play together! Brilliant!

But please, keep playing their crap, non-innovative 'games' and watching the industry spiral downwards. Keep paying full shelf price to use your own bandwidth to download a game, and letting them collect data on you and sell it. Sheep.
