I can unfortunately report that applying this patch does not fix the "notification area stuck" bug from an existing save game. So in case it is fixed, it will at least require restarting the whole game and losing all your progress.

Personally I don't think I want to play from the beginning again, so I guess that's it for me.

New content is great and all, but hopefully they've concentrated FIRST on fixing the bugs, because this game is just beyond broken at the moment. I stopped playing after hitting the "notification area stuck" bug that pretty much kills your save file.

People are way too quick to shout plagiarism these days. What everyone should realize is there are only 12 different pitches in Western music. And if you aren't writing avant garde music, you're likely only using a maximum of 7 at a time.

It's not a simple calculation of 7! to see how many permutations there are, since you can vary the rhythms etc., but basically the theoretical maximum amount of different melodies is not that huge. When you get down to interpreting anything that "sounds like it" to be the same melody, that narrows it down even more.

Now think about how much music has been composed in the course of history. Really the fact is that unless you're writing some really random 12-tone stuff, it's pretty much 100% guaranteed you're going to "plagiarize" a LOT of music.

Frankly, every time I see plagiarization accusations leveled against someone and the supposedly violated source is some obscure piece that no one has ever heard of (at least around where the accused composer resides), I call BS. As I'm inclinced to do here.
