Jul 2nd 2009 2:30AM (Joystiq)We want this Fallout 3 Brotherhood of Steel costume
Jul 2nd 2009 2:27AM (Joystiq)Then I noticed her faint, ghost-like image in the window. Kinda creeped me out.
On a different note, that Brotherhood of Steel outfit is clearly made from an alloy composed of metal and awesome.

May 21st 2009 3:51AM (Joystiq)South Korea serious about serious games, invests $64 million
May 21st 2009 3:50AM (Joystiq)Jokes aside, it sounds like South Korea could be making a smart move here. If I recall, doesn't the US army use some video games to train soldiers a bit? And then there's stuff like driving simulators to train new drivers and all that noise. And considering the nation's aforementioned Starcraft craze, games are already very much in the public consciousness, so it's a good idea to reach out to people through a medium that a lot of people will want to pay attention to.
Overall, I think the whole concept of serious games is a good idea -- you can get some basic training in a field (be it driving, the military, medicine, what have you) without having to consume any of the resources normally associated with traditional training methods (aside from time), and also at absolutely no risk to anything (except maybe the trainee's pride if they're bad at it).
It seems to me like it's a pretty good idea, and I give South Korea a tip of the hat for making what will likely be a wise move.

May 21st 2009 3:32AM (Joystiq)E3 does need to return to the old. It'll be easier than me having to invent time travel to go back to an E3 that sounds like it's worth attending.
(I've never been to E3, but frankly it's been I can't go/it's not worth going since they changed it)
