EA announces Dead Space for Wii, hints at MotionPlus support
Feb 3rd 2009 6:42PM (Joystiq)The fact that I've played the game on the 360 already may have spoiled me on the matter, as it's not that Dead Space on the Wii couldn't look or sound decent, but it just wouldn't match up to the high quality that that I already associate with the game (well, now franchise I guess).
On a tangential note, I'm surprised at myself. I'm normally not a snob when it comes to things like graphics or what system a game is on... and yet here I am, worrying that Dead Space might be as good on the Wii as it is on the 360. I would be greatly pleased if the game turns out to be as amazing as the original, and if it's in any way a sequel, I will probably get it regardless, but I am a little concerned that the atmosphere, which, while important to any game, is especially crucial to Dead Space (or any survival horror game), might suffer. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. Don't let me down, EA. Dead Space greatly increased my respect for you as a company.
