Insider Trader: Bags for the pros

As a mage/JC i was happy to figure out that my mana gems automatically go into my gem bag.

Socketed items still not impressing players

I'm a 375 JC. I sell a boat load of gems each day: greens and blues, but have only sold one meta gem since BC launch. Even with my own gear, I agree that its not all it could be. A few ideas to make it better from a profession perspective:

1. Increase the drop rate of blue gems and add more to the economy and bring the overall price down.

2. Dramatically increase the drop rate of blue gem recipes (or just let us train them!). JC’s face not only an expensive grind, but they have to spend tons of money just to get their recipes. This investment has to be made up somewhere. This could help bring the cost of blue recipes down from the current 250 - 500g. I have spent many many thousands of gold to get where I am.

2. Increase the difference between green and blue gems. Take this example:
Shifting Nightseye: +4 Agility & +6 Stam - sells for 50 - 60g
Shifting Shadow Draenite: +3 Agility & +4 Stam - sells for 4 - 5g

45 – 55g for an 1 point of agility and 2 extra stamina just doesn’t seem worth it to me.

Do your item bonuses stack? You may want to double-check. [Updated]

I'll assume that counts with gems as well? I just stuck 3 Dazzling Talasite (Intellect +4 and +2 mana every 5) in my chest.

So am i only getting +4 intell and +2 mana regen instead of +12 intell and +6 mana regen?

Breakfast Topic: Is crafting useless?

Dec 25th 2006 12:26AM (WoW)
Have to agree about SWG. As buggy/Laggy/unbalanced the game was, the crafting system was great. People would wait in line to get particular crafters gear and equiping one would almost be a status symbol. Having experimentation to increase the stats on crafted items was pretty amazing so a dedicated crafter could not only go above looted items, but other crafters.

Also being able to have a vendor/shop with your crafted gear was pretty cool as well.

Bluetooth only for PS3 remote -- toss that universal remote

Oct 12th 2006 7:08PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I spent a boat load of money on a logitech universal remote to control my whole home theatre. With one button i have the whole thing set up to watch a dvd, play a game, watch regular tv, etc.

Except for PS3??
