Seriously, I'd say GFWL is designed and maintained by monkeys but I guess that's not fair....to the monkeys!


Any system that forces me to enter and abort a game 3 times in a row for updates and then not actually save my games WHEN I HIT SAVE AFTER 2 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY needs to be in the desert next to the ET carts.

Some companies adapt to the marketplace. Other companies try to force the marketplace to adapt to them. I'm thinking Gamestop is more of a column B type of company.

Does shooting rebel scum in their X-Wings count as an RPG? There's dialog and weapon selection....that's like an RPG. You could call diverting shield power a buff.

It's a Wii, it's HD, it'll have better than original Wii online (good or bad judgement cannot be made at this point), the controller has an industry standard button layout. What does the screen do that takes away from the experience? Is it ergonomics? You haven't tried it yet and they have 18 or so months to refine it. Cost? We don't know that yet. There's nothing you can imagine that it would do to enhance a single player or online multiplayer experience?

Man they literally, never, can make people happy. It's like one of the physical laws of the universe or something.

-Wii was too weak graphically so people went 360/PS3.
-Wii U has better graphics now, I still want 360/PS3.

-Nintendo releases too many accessories for Wii. They're too expensive.
-Nintendo wants me to use my existing Wii controllers. They're cheapskates.

-I don't want to buy more of those new controllers. They look expensive.
-I can't use more of those new controllers? I wanted to buy more.

-Wii has pathetic 3rd party support. They need to court more developers.
-They seem to have courted more 3rd party support. I don't care.

-It wasn't revolutionary, I don't want it.
-I'll wait for 720/PS4, they'll probably have better graphics.

You may read all of that and come to the conclusion I probably think it's awesome, which of course simply NEEDS correction. I don't. Right now I think it has potential but the mere preview they've given is insufficient to make a proper judgement. They're still ironing out details and hardware. Considering it doesn't launch until after next E3 I think I have plenty of time to form a real opinion by then. Honestly I probably don't even want to look at whatever pre-alpha software they might have running right now as it's probably rough as hell.

Wait wait wait.....the game will have Michael J Fox AND the creepy accurate Michael J Fox impersonator? At the same time? Are we sure the universe won't implode? If my degree in science fiction has told me anything then that's awfully close to an awesome paradox thingy. Maybe only North America will be destroyed....where's Telltale based again?
