PlayStation Plus in March: Early Journey, free Sly Cooper, more

Mar 5th 2012 5:41PM (Joystiq)
@LoveYouSomeEric Um Jammer Lammy is unplayable on PS3, though- The timing/scoring in the game is completely broken for whatever reason. It sucks too, it's one of my favorite games.

PlayStation Plus in March: Early Journey, free Sly Cooper, more

Um Jammer Lammy is essentially unplayable on PS3, fyi. The timing is completely off compared to playing on a PSX, making it stupid frustrating to do anything in the game.

Make this roll itself into a joint and you'd sell billions of them.

actually, Jet Set Radio didn't have the Grind City levels. They were added in for the American version, complete with "Dragula" remix.

New iMac and Magic Mouse unboxing and quick hands-on

I'm still running a 17" 1.8 ghz G5 iMac, and was waiting for the i7 to drop for the Macbook Pro. Now I'm seriously considering getting this instead...

Closing Game Crazy stores begin clearance sales this weekend [update]

Sep 30th 2009 11:45AM (Joystiq)
Went to the Southington, CT gamecrazy today to check it out, and spoke to the guy working there. He was surprised that the closings were public knowledge, but told me that their store was not closing. The one in Hartford, CT is, however, as well as 3 in New York. Most of the closings are taking place out west.

My heart goes out to all the people losing jobs over this. I work at a union factory, and they've been shutting down departments for the past couple of years, and closing a plant next year. Best of luck to you all, and hopefully can bounce back quickly.

Google hits Android ROM modder with a cease-and-desist letter

Sep 24th 2009 10:55PM (Engadget)
i just upgraded to this over the weekend, and I really love it. It's a fantastic ROM that really has made me happy I bought a G1. I've had absolutely no slow-down issues since I used it!

That being said, I'm sure he can simply not include the google apps with his ROM, and continue on with his development. I see where Google is coming from, and hope that Cyanogen can continue after this little hiccup.

Breakfast Topic: Cross-character consistency

debasermedik- my Paladin
shammiemedik- my Shaman
deathmedik- my Death Knight
sneakmedik- my Rogue
beastmedik- my Huntard
firemedik- my Mage/bank alt

I was a combat medic in the Army for 6 years, so I tend to use medik for everything I do online. Debasermedik was my first- went with Debaser since that was the song playing at the time on iTunes. (Pixies ftw)

The best zone of Wrath

Alliance Prot Paladin here-
Sholazar Basin was my favorite, with Icecrown as a close second. The Basin was just very well laid out, very beautiful, and I just hit a really great groove as I progressed through the quests there. I had a blast.

Zul'Drak, however- I hated it. Just a boring, monotonous labor to get through it for me. I was more than eager to get the hell out of there as soon as I could.
